I find environmental variables quite nice for storing usernames and passwords, among other settings. But how secure is this? Where and how are these environmental variables stored on the local host?
Your custom environmental variables are stored in a plain text file named IguanaEnv.txt, which is located in your working directory. If you require additional security for your configurations, we would recommend using our encrypt password module (see the help document below for more details). Note that this would only be applicable for any configurations that are called from a translator script.
